About the Conference
SIMTEQ Engineering and MSC Software is hosting the SIMTEQ Users' Conference to give our customers the opportunity to share how they used MSC Software tools to solve complex problems. We would like to invite you to come and attend the conference to show us what you have been busy with the last year and also to see what your industry colleagues have been up to.
A Simulation community with a rich history
Our very first User'sConference was held in 1999 at a small conference venue in Waterkloof, which was attended by about 12 people. The event was focused on the rapid development of CAE technology.
The numbers doubled each subsequent year as the event proved to be a much-needed place for networking and idea sharing. The success of the MSC-Africa Conference led to the broader ESTEQ group getting on board and from 2008 to 2018 became known as the ESTEQ Community Conference (ECC).
It included tracks for CAE, PLM and Test and Measurement. The first SIMTEQ Engineering Users' Conference was hosted in 2019 with the unbundling of the ESTEQ group and continued to be the event where simulation technology applications and engineering solutions were shared, together with the excellent networking opportunities it provides for South African engineers.
